Lab for

We study positive psychology in animals and in humans.

By developing tools to track behaviour, running friendly experiments, using AI/machine-learning to analyze the data, and developing mathematical models we try to understand things such as personality, social behaviour, communication, learning in a group, and much more...

We hope to make the world happier for people and animals alike.

Hi, I'm Oren. Welcome to my lab

A little about me: I've started my academic career in physics and mathematics at the Hebrew University and later moved to the Weizmann Institute to study computer science and do lots of AI and machine learning.
I continued at the Weizmann Institute for my PhD in neuroscience, where I discovered my passion to studying social behaviour and animals. Later, I did my postdoc at the Max-Planck Institute for Ornithology and the Max-Planck Institute for Psychiatry.
